The 2026 Municipal Election is the time for municipal elected officials and candidates to send a strong message to the Ontario government to rescind these undemocratic powers.
This voluntary pledge below may be signed by municipal candidates in the 2026 Ontario Municipal Election as a public commitment to accountable local government, transparency, and the protection of democracy in Ontario.
